Preface
I was in Song Be from January 2 thru the 19th moving in the 101st. We still used the yellow forklifts and occasionally a beat-up 25k loader. We stayed at the field. MACV and the Army artillery unit would not want us in their compounds. Slept in tent or the bad bunker we had. Not much of facilities when we were there. I have two hours of raw film footage from the USAF Photography team that came to film us. Big joke! The comment from Neil about a c-124 landing is true although the 124 had an unloading accident and the Army's engineers cut the ramp toes off. Sgt Caude Davis and I rec'd AFCM for the operation.
